Two Poodles

These two poodles were adopted by Dan and Ellie. They belonged to Dan's mother who had to give them up when she moved to an elder care environment. They are spoiled, cheerful cuddlebugs!

Desk Pets are cut out of Masonite and hand-painted. Doubles (like these poodles) are only $120, free shipping!

Paw Prints with a Purpose is a creative collaboration between two local artists: Alison Vernon of Little Brook Gallery and Cindy Best of Little Bear Pottery, both of New London, NH.  The result is a unique keepsake ornament. On one side is your pet’s paw print and on the other is a hand-painted portrait.

Alison Vernon has been painting pets’ portraits for over 20 years.  Cindy Best has been doing custom clay work for over 10 years. Their collaboration has been a natural fit from the start…merging their love of creating art with a social benefit.

The ornament is sold as a kit for $30 ($12 shipping and handling if necessary). The kit includes a packaged clay disk, instructions, and a pet information card.  The ornament is created using fired clay which is stronger than air-dried clay.

This “Paw Prints with a Purpose” kit makes a great gift for the Holidays, to celebrate a new pet, or remember an older pet. Though January 1, 2012, the Upper Valley Humane Society is the chosen charity for Paw Prints for a Cause.
